QuinQuin

French. n. Little Child

Chicago native and Los Angeles based visual artist, QuinQuin is a self-proclaimed etc. He is a contemporary urban artist, graphic designer, cartoonist, photographer, and illustrator who was first brought to the attention of the art world as a craftsman on HGTV.

Influenced by his love for bold imagery, influenced by the contemporary art lineage of Keith Harring,  Jean-Michel Basquiat, Pop Artists Andy Warhol and Jim Dine, and contemporaries such as Banksy, Takashi Murakami, and Lorna Simpson, among many others, QuinQuin’s visual rhetoric is bold, unapologetic, playful, and at times subversive in his representation of the human condition, modern social and political angst.

He often explores themes of race, sexuality, religion, culture, history, and identity.
